Dalea Studios is a Boutique Intimate Apparel Specialist studio, serving New York and the world; we are led by Creative Director Leah Rundblad. 

We are expert consultants in: fit, garment style and ideation, fashion styling, technical design advise, marketing ideation, research & development and photography post-production with special emphasis on fit. Selectively, photography.

Leah is an Intimate Apparel Technical and Fashion Designer, Research & Development Adviser, Stylist, Master Editor and selectively, Photographer. Our focus is mainly the Intimate Apparel Industry, yet it does not exclude special projects in other areas of fashion or beauty. Leah's key training and work experience has all taken place in New York City, where she works in the intimate apparel and fashion industries. 

Leah is well versed in fashion history and committed to staying up to date with the ever evolving world of fashion and its technologies; ever visiting fashion history to look forward to stay on top of emerging trends and production innovations.

The most important thing to know about Leah, is that her devotion to high standards and refinement permeates everything she does.

She is completely fluid in Spanish.

• 2019 - Present:  

              ∘ Fit and Style Adviser, Wacoal America

              ∘ Overseeing Fit and Style during Product Photo-shoots and special projects

              ∘ Charged with Post Production of Web and Editorial images

              ∘ Styling Product photo-sessions

• 2010 - Present:

               ∘ Creative Director at Dalea Studios

               ∘ Fit and R&D Advisor for the intimate apparel industry and beyond.

               ∘ Master Editor of Digital Images with special focus on fit for the intimate

               apparel and fashion industry.

• 2007-2008

               ∘ VP of Merchandising/design for the  DKNY Intimate Apparel brand label

               ∘ Lead product innovation, product development, marketing photo-shoots

                 and fit. Garment fit and function were key to successful product launches. 

• 2004 - 2007

               ∘ Associate  Merchandiser/Designer for Vanity Fair Incorporated.

               ∘ Leah was involved in product development, conducting National focus

                 groups, marketing photo-shoots and model casting.

               ∘ Charged with fit sessions and communicating fit corrections to factories 

                 for optimal fit

               ∘ Honorary member of the Vanity Fair's research and development team,

                 affectionately known as 'The Idea Girl'. 

• Early Years

               As a child, Leah begun sewing and learning pattern making from her

               technical / Fashion Designer Grandmother; her love for fashion, fit and

               form began here. In her teens, Leah studied fine art, oil painting as well

               as human anatomy; all key in all aspects of Fit, Design and Photography.
